WOW! Trump BLOWS UP at Jim Acosta: 'You are a rude, terrible person'
After five years of covering the White House, CNN reporter Jim Acosta had his press pass revoked by the Trump administration Wednesday afternoon for an indefinite period of time.
The president clashed with Acosta after a series of questions about the migrant caravan, but the conversation became personal in a hurry. Trump ended the exchange by insulting Acosta, calling him a "rude awful person", and saying that when CNN reports "fake news", they are the "enemy of the people". But pulling the credentials of a White House reporter over nothing more than a personal grievance from the president is entirely unprecedented, even in Donald Trump's administration.
Reporters don't get routine access to the Prime Minister's Office, but media credentials to access Parliament Hill are managed by the National Press Gallery, not the PMO.
"I understand", Alexander said, attempting to ask a question.
The White House did not respond to multiple queries about the origin of the video.
Acosta had been questioning Trump about his claim that a caravan of migrants posed a threat to the US when the president turned on the journalist. Now, is it appropriate for the president, in taking questions and answers to say that's enough and to decline to other questions?
But the situation escalated still further later on Wednesday when Sanders accused Acosta of "placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern". "Jim Acosta is always the story". She said that "on the campaign trail, you called yourself a nationalist". Acosta, President Trump's favorite punching bag, got into a tense exchange about his rhetoric on immigration, specifically about the illegal alien caravan approaching the southern border.
Sanders defended her claim by posting a video on Twitter on Wednesday night. "Put down the mic!"
As anyone can see, Acosta was behaving unprofessionally for a correspondent; had he been a conservative for Fox News behaving that way in front of an Obama White House intern, the media would have castigated him as a sexist. The two went back and forth. "You run CNN, and if you did it well, your ratings would be much better", Trump scolded Acosta.
"They are not only risky, they are disturbingly un-American", CNN said. You and I have a difference of opinion.

It's unusual for the White House to pull the so-called hard passes from journalists.
