Crystal Palace batter Burnley, finally win at home

Palace problems indicate Premier League’s strength says Burnley boss Dyche

Burnley, without a win since the end of September, lacked any confidence on the ball and made for the ideal opponent for the Eagles to get back on track.

Palace earned their first home win of the season following a 2-0 victory at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The home side then took the lead, deservedly, but it came rather fortuitously.

Goals from James McArthur and Andros Townsend secured the victory for the Eagles who dominated for large periods of the game against a Clarets side who are languishing in 19th position in the Premier League.

But the points were sealed by Andros Townsend's second goal of the season, leaving Joe Hart with no chance as he fired an unstoppable shot into the top corner. Zaha hit the bar and nearly everyone had a chance to put the game to bed but that elusive second just wouldn't come.

She also stated that she never had a guy who told her to be ambitious and supported her in what she wanted to do. In response, both Joe and Turner, who have been engaged since October 2017, slammed the article on Twitter.

"But we have to keep going, keep the momentum and keep picking up points".

"I was concerned, but only because of where we are in the Premier League, and the team's performances this season have not got the results they have merited", said Hodgson.

Roy Hodgson kept the same team which had performed brilliantly at Manchester United a week prior and were unlucky not to leave with all three points. "I expect him to produce that level of shot".

Townsend made sure of the win in spectacular fashion.

Ashley Barnes missed a glorious chance late on and that summed up Burnley's day as Dyche's side failed to put an effort on target.

Mitchell Marsh dropped by Australia for series opener against India
The previous series between the two rivals have been heated, with the combative Kohli usually front and centre. Paine said his message to the team was to keep their cool but also play to their strengths.

"There's a good group of lads in there and we need to get together and sort it out and play with a bit more belief and confidence", the 29-year-old told the club's official website.

"It might be a case of two steps forward, and one step back, but we have to keep building and get back to having that eye of the tiger".

Cheikhou Kouyate was inches away from putting the Eagles ahead and scoring a much needed first goal from open play at Selhurst this season but he needed boots about two sizes bigger to be able to connect with Wilf Zaha's excellent low fizzes cross.

"We've got to back ourselves and get that confidence in how we play and what we're about".
