The December security patch is rolling out to Pixel and Nexus devices, with Google taking to opportunity to implement a number of updates and bugfixes for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL that launched back on October 9th. Google has announced in a blog post that the Pixel 3 and 3XL will soon be available with eSIM support (hard luck to anyone who's already bought one, then).

Pixel 3 users can also look forward to retooled autofocus behaviour and improved shutter performance after they install the update. First, Google has adjusted the volume behaviour when connecting to a Bluetooth device, which applies to all Pixel phones.
