Apple Answers iPad Pro Bendgate with New Support Doc

If the bend is less than the width of four sheets of paper it is"normal
Again, a 400 micron tolerance has been specified, which Apple says is no thicker than "four sheets of paper".
For those that don't really care how their iPad is made - a constituency which, let's face it, encompasses almost everyone - the executive summary is that the new cellular iPad Pro uses co-moulding to inject plastic into "precisely milled channels in the aluminium enclosure where it bonds to micro-pores in the aluminium surface". Apple explains that these splits, coupled with the new tablets' straight edges - previous versions, as you know, have more rounded ones - may create "subtle deviations in flatness" that are only visible from certain angles. The support page also explains that the antenna spits on the sides of the iPad Pro, which essentially offer optimum cellular performance, were manufactured through a high-temperature process, dubbed co-molding that bonds plastic to the aluminum surface.
Since the debut of the 2018 iPad Pro, Apple has been facing a large number of concerns and complaints from customers about the tablet shipping with slight but noticeable bends in its body design. Specifically, on cellular iPad Pro models, the plastic antenna bands on the sides of the new iPad Pro are bonded with metal, as described below. Apple does state at the end of its new support page addition that it covers damage due to defects in materials or workmanship. He'd also said the levels shouldn't change during normal use and don't affect the function of the device. The support document reiterates that Apple has a 14-day return policy on products bought directly from the company, and it instructs iPad Pro owners who think the bend in their tablet exceeds the 400-micron standard to contact Apple Support. When the new iPad Pro was released late past year, there was no doubt it's a great device but the price was quite eye-watering.
Without explicitly saying so, Apple implies this high-temperature process sometimes causes the iPad's unibody casing to bend.

Samsung's new Notebook Odyssey gaming laptop packs an RTX 2080
Samsung doesn't sell IT products locally, so you'll have to import the Notebook Odyssey from overseas if it tickles your fancy. Somewhat curiously, the option to add an LTE modem is absent, even though it's available on several other Samsung laptops.
