Intel's 9th Gen Core processors headed to laptops in Q2 2019

According to Shenoy, "We are making excellent progress in pursuing a massive $300 billion (roughly Rs. 21 lakh crores) data-driven market opportunity spanning the most important workloads - such as AI, 5G and autonomous driving".

Intel is additionally expanding its system-on-a-chip (SoC) range with a 10nm-based SoC code-named Snow Ridge, which it said was "developed specifically for 5G wireless access and edge computing". This will now be the widely available series of 10nm CPUs from Intel.

At Intel's Architecture Day in December, we saw chips designated as "Ice Lake-U", built for 15W TDPs with four cores using the new Sunny Cove microarchitecture and Gen11 graphics.

Ice Lake will support adaptive sync technology and be capable of over 1 teraflop of performance, also integrating Thunderbolt 3 and Wi-Fi 6. It has several products that could qualify for that, but Ice Lake is the likely suspect.

It should be noted that Intel hasn't put a date on Ice Lake launching, but has promised 10nm on shelves by the end of 2019.

LAS VEGAS-As Intel forges ahead with its lengthy and delay-prone project to move to a new method of manufacturing PC processors, it is taking a side trip into reimagining what other parts of the PC will look like.

In addition to news of the forthcoming 9th Gen mobile chips, Intel revealed new additions to its 9th Gen desktop family will be available this month.

Lakefield combines a single 10nm Sunny Cove "big core" with four Atom CPU cores.

Intel showed off a tiny motherboard featuring this tech, as pictured directly above.

Intel has also provided a sneak peek of its new client platform code-named Lakefield, a hybrid CPU architecture that utilises its Foveros 3D packaging technology. Project Athena is the Battlestar Galactica-inspired name Intel has given its new program aimed at creating a new class of advanced laptop which will use the efficient, miniscule Lakefield motherboards to power its devices. Acer, Asus, Dell, Google, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and Samsung are among the partners being announced today.

Sevilla meet with Morata's agent
Morata has struggled at Stamford Bridge since joining Chelsea from Real Madrid last summer. Chelsea , however, will not allow Morata to leave until a replacement is signed.

Following their launch late previous year, Intel's 9th Gen Core processors are finally almost ready to make their laptop debut.

The company has announced that it will be adding six more 9th-gen Core processors, ranging from Core i3 to Core i9, set to release soon. In order to drive that many execution units, Intel stated that they need 50-60 GB/s of memory bandwidth, which will come from LPDDR4X memory. Next year, it will be joined by a Neural Network Processor for Training.

Intel disclosed it has started revenue shipments of its next-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, code-named "Cascade Lake". It is planning to introduce a new 5G base station called "Snow Ridge". No specifications are yet known.

More devices-especially smaller ones with very fast wireless capabilities-will necessitate new wireless infrastructure, and Intel is investing in that as well. Intel is projecting a 40 percent market share of cellular base stations by 2022, up from zero right now. Amnon Shashua, CEO and President of Mobileye, which Intel acquired in 2017, was also on stage at Intel's CES 2019 press conference.
