Athletics expect Kyler Murray to enter National Football League draft

A source told the Chronicle that it seems like Murray is looking more towards a career in football.

The Oakland Athletics expect reigning Heisman Trophy victor and Athletics draft pick Kyler Murray to declare Sunday for the upcoming National Football League draft, multiple sources told Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. The NFL's scouting combine begins on February 26, which Murray will likely attend if he chooses to go the football route.

"Some see Murray's size as a factor (he's listed at 5'10" but probably shorter than that), but his skill set is so great teams will be willing to take a shot on him.

Lenovo’s Smart Clock is the Google Assistant’s answer to the Echo Spot
Hopefully, this is simply a hiccup of the location and the device being a demo unit and not a final product. That said, it does seem to very good at those things, especially if you want to be eased into your day.

Murray's agent, Scott Boras, told The Chronicle in December that his client planned to report to the A's.

Murray's potential declaration for the NFL draft doesn't mean he'll choose to play football over baseball, but it gives Murray the extra option. "I'd take him with the first pick in the draft if I could".

Last month, on the eve of the Heisman ceremony, it was clear that Murray was torn about which sport he wanted to play.

Mysterious radio signals from deep space detected
The first FRB was recorded in 2001 and identified in 2007, while the first repeating FRB was detected in 2012. The fast radio bursts suggest there could be more out there, researchers say.

According to a source, Murray declaring for the draft is not considered to be contractually significant.

If Murray decides to play in NFL especially at the quarterback position teams will expect him to be all in on football and nothing else, that is the only way he will be selected in 1st round if they have those assurances.

That said, the Cardinals spent a first-round pick on quarterback Josh Rosen last season, and while he struggled throughout much of his rookie season, the odds are against Arizona selecting a quarterback in the first round in back-to-back drafts. "I would take him with the first pick".

Warriors ask National Basketball Association to investigate Cavs' signing, release of Patrick McCaw
McCaw was the 38th overall pick in the 2016 National Basketball Association draft out of UNLV. The move will increase Toronto's luxury tax bill by $2.56 million, ESPN's Bobby Marks added .

The Cardinals may have taken Josh Rosen at quarterback a year ago, but if Kingsbury believes in Murray that much, they should take him all the way and just trade Rosen.
