Las Vegas police reopened the case past year after Mayorga claimed she had been raped by the footballer in a hotel suite after a night spent partying in 2009. Although the complaint was initially closed because Mayorga failed to offer up pertinent details of the incident or suspect, it was ultimately reopened in September 2018 when she filed a civil suit against Ronaldo. Recalling the interaction, Mayorga told Der Spiegelthat Ronaldo had made a remark suggesting he was a good person minus that "1 percent".
Investigations are still going on the allegations that Ronaldo allegedly assaulted Kathryn Mayorga in America even though the Portuguese has denied what he was accused of. According to the report, the warrant has been sent to the court system in Italy, and once it's served, the Italian officials are expected to collect a sample of Ronaldo's DNA and send it back to Vegas police.
Jasmine Lennard, an English model and actress, posted on her Twitter account that she has years worth of messages that would back up her claims that Ronaldo was abusive, and unrepentant about his behavior, towards her and other women. Lennard has since been in contact with Mayorga's team and will be looking to share her evidence with them. But Mayorga gave consent through her lawyers to make her name public.
Authorities in Las Vegas would then determine whether it matches genetic material found on Mayorga's dress.
