Chelsea could be busy in the January transfer window
Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has lashed out at Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich after publicly declaring interest in starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi. I spoke with the club and the club knows very well my opinion.
Bayern's sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, on Wednesday said the 18-year-old had the qualities his side wanted.
'Bayern Munich? We are Chelsea, another great team and the Premier League is the most competitive league in the world.
There is widely-held suspicion at Chelsea that Bayern are coordinating their efforts with Hudson-Odoi's camp to get him out of Stamford Bridge, though it is also accepted that accusations of "tapping up" are hard to prove.
"Me and Callum are close friends", said Sancho, speaking from Dortmund's winter training camp in Marbella.
Chelsea are happy to allow Morata to leave, but they first want to source a replacement, which they have identified as Gonzalo Higuain. I am happy with the player because he is improving, improving a lot in the defensive phase.
Sarri also confirmed that Cesc Fabregas was leaving Chelsea - he is expected to link up with his former team-mate Thierry Henry at Monaco.
"It's insane. I think the January market window would be better for one week or 10 days, no more".
