LG's new TV rolls away into a base when you're not using
LG Electronics has redefined the television viewing experience with the introduction of the world's first rollable OLED TV at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019. The display is an upgrade to the Crystal Sound screen technology it unveiled back in 2017.
Full View - a full-screen view with excellent sound and image quality.
LG is further enhancing the experience with immersive audio, which is included in 2019 LG OLED TVs. Last year, LG released the amazingly thin Wallpaper TV and now engineers have managed to make it bendable enough to neatly fold away. The never-before-seen user experience gives home TV viewers infinite possibilities in designing their ideal viewing space. The new TV is equipped with LG's second generation of Alpha 9 intelligent processor and deep learning algorithm for a stunning AI picture and sound quality.
"We're talking with other clients as well [apart from LG Electronics] for the rollable TV panels", he said.
In "ZeroView", the entire TV retracts into the base, looking like a media cabinet piece of futniture - although it can still play music via a 4.2-channel, 100W front-firing Dolby Atmos audio system. While this isn't new by any means as we've seen some 8K panels on display in the previous years as well, this time the panels are market ready, and some will even go on sale in 2019. In LineView, users can choose from features such as Clock mode to check the time and weather, Frame mode to enjoy family photos shared from a smartphone, Mood mode to create a more relaxing atmosphere as well as others including Music and Home Dashboard.
Voice control continued to be the popular addition for all the TV companies, as they also added more support for popular voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon's Alexa.
Led coalition: American withdrawal from Syria has begun
Turkey considers America's Kurdish allies of the YPG militia - who were vital in the ground war against ISIS - a terrorist group. Mr Trump initially signalled a rapid withdrawal from Syria and USA officials said they expected troops to be out with 30 days.
The video below shows the new TV in all its beauty, but there's one thing we don't know for now.
There's also a mode LG calls "Line Mode" where the display will drop down so that only about one-fourth of the panel is showing to control on-screen music controls and home gadget apps. The company says that these two are best for automotive usage.
