Some congressional Democrats are already frustrated with upstart freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's tendency to butt heads with members of her own party, according to a number of lawmakers and aides.

Melissa Stewart, a state Workers Compensation Board spokeswoman, told the Daily News that the Ocasio-Cortez campaign coverage lasted from March 31 to April 30 a year ago and it already paid the fine.

"This coverage is vital to ensuring workers are protected for on-the-job injuries", Stewart said.

Last year Ocasio-Cortez was also mocked after she lamented the shuttering of a coffee shop in NY, which, it was revealed, closed its doors because of the wage hike in the state - a policy that she supports, causing 150 people to lose their jobs.

‘Criminal Minds’ Renewed for 15th and Final Season on CBS
Even so, Messer expects the series finale to be a "tearjerker". "I don't have the endgame in mind yet", she said at the time. By the time it wraps, Criminal Minds will have completed 325 episodes, making it one of the longest running TV dramas.

Democratic leaders were also frustrated that Ocasio-Cortez criticized their new set of House rules on Twitter in the first week of the new Congress, Politico reported.

Through her staff, Ocasio-Cortez declined to comment to Politico.

The Politico report follows criticism from high profile former members of Congress like Democrat Claire McCaskill, a former senator from Missouri. "The so-called champion of workers, when given her own responsibility, is not following the law". I cannot even get laptops to my caseworkers in the Bronx and Queens so they can process the needs of our constituents.

In 2011, Ocasio-Cortez graduated from Boston University with a degree in economics and worldwide relations.

"I think that there's a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right", she told host Anderson Cooper. I say, 'OK, this was clumsy.' and then I restate what my point was.

"She's new here, feeling her way around", Schrader said.

In November, Ocasio-Cortez, 29, became the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.
