The governor of Washington state declared a state of emergency Friday over a measles outbreak that has sickened dozens of people in a county with one of the state's lowest vaccination rates.
The person while contagious visited Legacy GoHealth in Gresham and Fred Meyer in Wood Village Sunday and on Wednesday visited Gresham Troutdale Family Medical Center in Troutdale and the Walgreens Pharmacy in Troutdale.
The Health District says no other cases of measles have been reported in Champaign County at this time.
The measles vaccine is available at local clinics and pharmacies as a combined measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.
"Measles is a highly contagious infectious disease that can be fatal in small children", Inslee said in a statement.
"Routinely we don't vaccinate children prior to the age of one, so infants are likely to be susceptible, especially after about four to six months of age", she says.
