Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper to perform at Oscars

It’s Official Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper Will Perform ‘Shallow’ At The Oscars

This was followed by a few minutes of a musical treat wherein they sung their uber-popular A Star Is Born hit Shallow.

The Academy - who reportedly wanted Queen to open the show at one point - had originally decided that only two songs would be performed on Oscar night: "Shallow" from "A Star is Born" and Kendrick Lamar/SZA's "All the Stars" from "Black Panther", according to Deadline. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences tweeted the news on Friday, writing simply: "Cooper".
