Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz reflects on challenging year recent criticism ‘I know I’m not perfect

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, and former Super Bowl MVP, Nick Foles will void the $20 million option and buy his way into free agency, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Nick Foles' offseason saga has begun.

However, just because the team has made a decision to exercise the 2019 option, it doesn't mean that Foles will ultimately end up on the team.

Of course, Foles wasted no time in delaying this critical $2 million payment. But when Wentz went down with another late-year injury, Foles again sparkled and led the Eagles back to the playoffs. NY is one of 11 potential landing spots we ranked for the Super Bowl LII MVP, and there are few teams as familiar with Foles' success as those within the Eagles' division. The coach worked with Suarez while together at Sevilla and handed Suarez his debut off the bench during Arsenal's defeat to City. He noted: "Just a few weeks ago, United were obviously behind us but it's happened and it's something we have to deal with".

Earlier Monday ESPN's Tim McManus reported the Eagles informed Foles they will exercise his option for the 2019 season.

Nick Foles #9 of the Philadelphia Eagles celebrates with the Vince Lombardi Trophy after his teams 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium on February 4, 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

However, before using their franchise tag, Philadelphia could decide to pick up Foles' $20million option.

The Eagles could still place their franchise tag on the backup quarterback with the intention of trading him.

Cheltenham Festival likely to go ahead despite equine flu outbreak
If the shutting down of racecourses amid an outbreak of horse flu seems like an extreme reaction, Jim Tipp thinks otherwise. Equine influenza, sometimes referred to as equine flu or horse flu, is a highly contagious respiratory infection.

Wentz said upon reading the story he was "a little confused" and tried to "play detective" to figure out which teammates had spoken anonymously in the story.

"It hasn't been the easiest past year for me on the physical level, just battling the injuries, but then just personally going through it, sitting on the sideline and then playing and then sitting on the sideline again", Wentz said.

In the wake of that report, several Eagles players defended Wentz. I think we all have selfishness inside of us.

The Eagles have publicly committed to Carson Wentz as their starting QB moving forward.
