The stars glammed up in the name of the 2019 Grammy Awards, and we were more than happy to bear witness to their show-stopping looks.
In addition to performances by of-the-moment stars like Gaga and Cardi B, icons like Parton and disco diva Diana Ross will take the stage. "If you're hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and tell somebody", Lady Gaga said during her acceptance speech.
"This is just the beginning of moving to a more inclusive future", Monae said. A little later, Gaga was shocked again when her single "Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?") won for Best Pop Solo Performance, for which she said she was absolutely shocked.
But the Grammys are just the latest accomplishment for the Korean boy band this year. The Grammys show itself has become more of an all-star concert event with a few awards handed out between performances.
But, if and when you hear her name tonight, in the context of nominees or as the victor, now you know a little more about who she is.
This year's show exhibits some efforts to combat these diversity issues - the academy, which The Times reported has invited 900 new members to vote, expanded major categories from five to eight nominees. "I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more".
"And I feel like it's a time in this country when women need to support each other and their decisions".
Grande is nominated for two awards and could miss the chance to give a speech onstage if she wins.
Leading nominees Kendrick Lamar, who produced the Black Panther soundtrack, and Canadian rapper Drake will also be absent in what is seen as a snub by the three rappers of an awards show that has often shut hip-hop artists out of its top prizes, despite rap's dominance as the biggest music genre in the United States. A study released by the University of Southern California's Annenberg Inclusion Initiative days before the ceremony found that of the 899 individuals who had been nominated for the previous six shows, 90.7 percent were men. A representative for the Grammys didn't return an email seeking clarification about the tribute. Collaborations include Camila Cabello and J Balvin; Post Malone and Red Hot Chili Peppers; and Dua Lipa and St. Vincent.

The Division 2 Beta: What the Install Size Is
On PC, the Division 2 beta install size comes in at a whopping 43.5 GB, so you'll need to have at least that much free. The two main issues detailed by Ubisoft are crashes caused by extended play sessions and an issue with invites.
Insulin in a pill from MIT researchers
Once the insulin was absorbed, the capsule, made of stainless steel and a biodegradable material, floated free and was excreted. The researchers drew their inspiration for the self-orientation feature from a tortoise known as the leopard tortoise.

Dems turn focus to tax returns - and Trump's loom largest

Last Five Years are the Warmest since 1880
With global emissions rising for the second year in a row, this disastrous trend shows no signs of changing any time soon. But consider the context: The hottest five years on record are, in fact, the last five years.
