"We're expecting unsafe surf conditions to get worse from Wednesday and peaking Friday through to Sunday", Queensland forecaster Lachlan Stoney told news.com.au this morning. It will also create unsafe rips and currents at popular eastern Australian beaches over the next several days.
"In the morning, it's the key time with the combination of the high tide and the swell, so those times will be quite risky, and there's much beach with the size of the swell that we are going to get".
