As a result the Q30 auto and QX30 sports-utility vehicle will no longer be made in the UK.

The company says the plant management "will discuss any impact on the plant with employees and their representatives".

The decision is part of a wider global restructuring plan for Infiniti, according to bosses, who have been reluctant to boost R&D investments for the cars to meet stricter European Union legislation around Carbon dioxide emissions when so few models are bought in Europe. The stores will remain operational until a transition plan is put in place.

Suns have 3-game winning streak halted by hot-shooting Blazers
With the Trail Blazers down two points, Thunder head coach Billy Donovan chose Skal Labissiere to shoot free throws for Nurkic. The Blazers were home after a largely successful seven-game, post-All-Star break road trip, during which they went 5-2.

Globally, Infiniti intends to improve the sales experience at its dealers and boost its vehicles' residual values, some of which will be done by future-proofing the brand's portfolio.

The restructuring plan will end all Infiniti auto sales in western Europe, although Nissan's premium brand will continue in some eastern European countries, along with China and the USA.

Around 250 employees at the Sunderland vehicle factory are dedicated to Infiniti production.

Oil gains as Saudi Arabia stands by OPEC cuts, United States drilling drops
The report comes as OPEC countries and allied major oil producers led by Russian Federation are trying to balance the oil market. This report could trigger a volatile reaction because the markets are sensitive to rising USA production.

Infiniti, Nissan's luxury marque, will exit the western European market by early 2020, and cease production of the Q30 and QX30 models in England.

Infiniti will continue selling cars in Russian Federation and eastern Europe, it said.

The carmaker made a decision to shift production of its Q30 unit to Japan amid weak sales in western Europe, with work due to conclude in Sunderland "by mid-2019".

Silva charged with improper conduct after confronting referee
Asked about the 25-year-old, who was taunted by home fans throughout, Silva said: "I'm not here to do that. Everything I have to say to my players I will say in our dressing room.

It will shift its focus to North America and China, and continue its smaller operations in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The brand has said new vehicles introduced after 2021 will be electrified, meaning they will be offered as a hybrid or pure battery electric vehicle-that has not changed.
