- Just minutes after it was reported that the Ravens signed Earl Thomas to a four-year deal, news broke that Baltimore also signed running back Mark Ingram to a three-year contract worth a reported $15 million.

Despite playing in only four games in 2018 after suffering a season-ending knee injury, Thomas is the only safety in the last decade to record 100 or more tackles, five or more interceptions and two or more forced fumbles in a single season.

On Wednesday, despite his rocky tenure with the Seahawks, Thomas wrote on Twitter: "Thank you Seattle for the love and memories that my family and I will never forget".

- Adrian Peterson, who signed with Washington last August, told ESPN's Josina Anderson he is signing a two-year deal to return to the Redskins.

Dolphins emerging to fight Teddy Bridgewater away from Saints
If Payton stays with the Saints , the plan is for Bridgewater to eventually take over as the team's starting quarterback. The Saints restructured Brees' contract Thursday in hopes of creating room under the salary cap to re-sign Bridgewater.

In a way, it's kind of ironic to see the Ravens bring Thomas on board since it was the Rams that took advantage of Baltimore releasing Eric Weddle before the safety ended up joining the NFC champions.

He wanted to sign with the Dallas Cowboys.

But Dallas reportedly did not want to pay Thomas more than about $11 million a year.

Thomas was on the Seahawks team that dominated the Denver Broncos, 43-8, in Super Bowl XLVIII, as a cornestone of a defensive unit nicknamed the "Legion of Boom".

Sara Latham, an American who is now managing partner at Freuds PR agency, was named as the duke's new communications chief. Meghan Markle sure is taking her Royal responsibilities seriously, the Duchess reportedly held a secret meeting with Dr.

Furthermore, the price tag was just going to be too hefty for the Seahawks to commit to Thomas on the third contract of his pro career. The team has made a huge splash by signing free agent safety Earl Thomas.

Thomas was a first-team All-Pro pick three times.

While being carted off the field with a lower leg fracture in a September 30 game against Arizona, Thomas extended his middle finger in the direction of the Seattle bench. Thomas was reportedly hoping to land a deal that would make him the highest paid safety in the National Football League, and that's exactly what he ended up getting from Baltimore. Reports indicated New Orleans turned to Murray to fill Ingram's spot when the Saints and Ingram couldn't reach an agreement on a contract extension.
