Bengaluru retains 149th rank in quality of living survey

Best cities for expats three Swiss destinations among top ten

The annual quality of life study from Mercer, the world's largest human resources consulting company, ranks more than 200 cities.

European cities maintained a generally high position in the list, with Vienna, Zurich and Munich in the top three places globally.

Venezuela's capital fell 29 positions on the world scale, ranking 202nd out of 231 cities analyzed by the global consultancy based in NY. All US cities covered in the analysis fell in the rankings this year, with Washington DC (53) the biggest faller. He says that's mainly due to safety and crime, adding that crime rates are much lower in Canada than in the U.S.
