Boeing Grounds Entire Fleet Of 737 Max Planes After New Crash Evidence Emerges

Boeing Has Grounded All Boeing 737 Max Planes Worldwide Over Safety Fears

Investigators have found the cockpit voice recorder and digital flight data recorder but it will be a while before the findings are made public.

Inside Story: How safe is Boeing's 737 Max 8 aircraft?

All 157 people on board - 149 passengers and eight crew - died in the crash.

Three U.S. airlines - United, American and Southwest - operate a total of 72 Max aircraft, a relatively small portion of their fleets, according to the Wall Street Journal.

On Wednesday, US authorities said new evidence showed similarities between the Ethiopia crash and that of a Lion Air flight in Indonesia in October that claimed the lives of 189 people.

France's air accident investigation agency BEA will analyse black-box flight recorders from a Boeing 737 MAX 8 which crashed near Addis Ababa on Sunday, a spokesman said.

Italy bans unvaccinated children from school
The new "Lorenzin law" is aimed at reducing measles outbreaks caused the inadequate vaccination of children. Under the new law, children must now receive a range of mandatory vaccinations before attending school.

The BEA notably helps with investigations in countries without the resources or equipment to analyse the flight recorders, often called the black boxes.

Jennifer Sweetland, a spokesperson for the airport, said no carriers use Boeing 737 Max 8 or Max 9 planes on flights serving Syracuse.

The Boeing 737 Max has been the fastest-selling aircraft in Boeing's history, with more than 4,500 ordered by 100 different operators globally.

The manufacturer said it would continue its production rate of 52 aircraft per month, but its MAX fleet would not be delivered to airlines or leasing companies.

However, the FAA said this week it had mandated that Boeing update its flight software and training on the aircraft.

Investigators looking into the Indonesian crash are examining whether the software automatically pushed the plane's nose down repeatedly, and whether the Lion Air pilots knew how to solve that problem by throwing toggle switches and cancelling the automated nose-down commands.

Galaxy Note 10 Makes A Surprising Appearance With 5G In Code
For the last several months, rumors have been swirling that Samsung has codenamed the Galaxy Note 10 " Da Vinci ". XDA developers found that the "davinci5G" was mentioned in the source code of the Galaxy S10 kernel.

The accounts of the recent crashes were echoed in concerns registered by U.S. pilots on how the MAX 8 behaves.

Experts say other possible causes of the crashes are being investigated, including other malfunctioning systems and pilot error.

Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 9 planes will remain grounded for "weeks" at a minimum until a software upgrade could be tested and installed in all of the planes, USA lawmakers said on Thursday.

US, home of Boeing - the world's largest aircraft maker, was one of the last countries where the plane model was still allowed to operate.

The delayed flight ET302 took off from Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa at 08:38 local time (05:38 GMT) and was bound for Kenyan capital Nairobi.
