HAMILTON ON- NOVEMBER 3 Johnny Manziel #2 of the Montreal Alouettes fires a pass against the Hamilton Tiger Cats in a CFL game at Tim Hortons Field

Johnny Manziel is back once again. No, it's not the NFL.

Former Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman Trophy victor Johnny Manziel has signed a player agreement with the Alliance of American football, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Commanders had the rights to Manziel because he played college football at Texas A&M.

Memphis, which has a 1-5 record and has had trouble with its quarterback situation, will hold the first waiver claim once Manziel goes through the system. The Express lost quarterback Zach Mettenberger on Saturday, who left after their first offensive snap with an ankle injury - according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal. Silvers completed 23 of 37 passes for 242 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions against Salt Lake.

UK opposition Labour: lawmakers must reject PM May's Brexit deal
Tory former Brexit minister Steve Baker said he was "very confident" there won't be a general election. Another 18 Labour MPs voted against the amendment, highlighting the divisions in the Labour party.

He played just two seasons with the team before he was released.

The statement from the Alliance said that Manziel "will report to Memphis tomorrow, where we all believe he'll benefit from the coaching and mentorship of Mike Singletary". He'll be immediately eligible to play with his new team.

Manziel was offered the chance to start working out with AAF teams earlier this month, and was reportedly contacted by the league within 24 hours of him being banned from the CFL.

He immediately becomes one of the biggest names in the AAF as one of its few former National Football League first-round picks, notably among them Birmingham running back Trent Richardson.

BREXIT SHOCK: DUP could be handed ‘MILLIONS’ to back May’s deal
Mrs May has put forward two deals to Parliament, both of which have been rejected in an overwhelming majority. But Mrs May's party is still severely split, with more than half voting against the delay.

The agreement is a three-year deal worth $250,000. Other than Orlando, which has Garrett Gilbert at quarterback, most of the league's teams have had some issues at the position. However, players can earn more in incentives.

In Memphis, Manziel could get an opportunity to play quickly.

Manziel eventually ended up signing with Hamilton in May 2018 but was unable to get on to the field behind starter Jeremiah Masoli. He washed out of the National Football League less than two years after the Cleveland Browns selected him in the first round, making just eight starts and throwing as many interceptions as touchdowns (seven). In 2016, a domestic assault charge against Manziel in Dallas was dismissed after he took an anger management course and participated in the NFL's substance abuse program.
