More Confirmed Measles Cases Bring Total To 30

Under the state of emergency, anyone who is under 18 years of age and unvaccinated against the measles will be barred from public places until the declaration expires in 30 days or until they have received the MMR vaccination.

This is the highest number of measles in the state since 1991 when 65 cases were reported.

In its latest surveillance report, the health department reported that there are now 26,956 measles cases reported from January 1 to March 30.
