The Wizards Cut Ties With A Player Arrested For Fighting An Eagles Player Outside A Club

According to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News, the players' fight may have "arose over Robinson feeling that Mills shouldn't be in D.C. since he doesn't play for a Washington team".

Robinson reportedly was arrested as part of altercation he had with another professional athlete - Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills.

Mills, 25 and Robinson, 24, were "involved in a verbal altercation which escalated into a physical altercation on the sidewalk adjacent to the Opera Night Club", according to the police report.

The Washington Wizards announced on Saturday they will not make a qualifying offer to free agent forward Devin Robinson after he was apparently arrested late Friday.

Originally a seventh-round pick by Philadelphia in 2016, Mills fell a bit in the draft due to a 2014 arrest for second-degree battery of a woman, an allegation Mills has always denied.
