Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband pleaded not guilty Monday to charges against them in the far-reaching college admissions scandal. Series star Erin Krakow took to social media to announce When Calls The Heart will be returning to Hallmark next year for Season 7.

Actress Felicity Huffman entered a guilty plea April 8 and faces at least four months in prison. Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly paid a total of $500,000 to get their two daughters designated as recruits to the University of Southern California's crew team, though neither girl participated in the sport.

The couple and more than a dozen other parents were hit last week with money laundering conspiracy charges on top of the mail fraud conspiracy charges they were already facing.

Truck bombs: Taliban claim attack as spring offensive begins
The Taliban, who frequently exaggerate numbers, claimed to have killed or wounded "more than 200 soldiers, police and militias". It shows "the enemy still seeks to attain its malicious objectives through the use of force", the Taliban said.

Lori and Mossimo advised the court that they were not intending to appear at a second arraignment, and filed waiver appearance forms indicating they are pleading not guilty to "each of the charges".

Federal agents obtained emails from Loughlin and a recorded conversation in which Loughlin and Giannulli implicated themselves in the scam, according to the documents.

The parents are accused of paying admissions consultant Rick Singer to rig standardized test scores and bribe college coaches and other insiders to get their children into selective schools. Huffman is scheduled to appear in a Boston court on May 21 to enter her plea. Last week, Loughlin and Giannulli rejected the very same plea agreement Felicity accepted.

On March 12, the U.S. Attorney's Office in MA announced that it had charged 50 people, including Loughlin and fellow actress Felicity Huffman, in the cheating scandal. Huffman was accused of paying $15,000 to have someone take her daughter's Saturday.

The source goes on to emphasize that Lori didn't understand how serious her actions were.

"I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community".
