Lori Loughlin felt she had 'no choice' but to plead not guilty

Former Hallmark star Lori Loughlin feels 'she had no choice' in her not guilty plea, report says
Amid the ongoing college admissions scandal her famous family is embroiled in, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli's firstborn daughter, 20-year-old Bella, is no longer on the social media platform. In court documents filed Monday, the Hollywood actress said she and her husband were waiving their right to appear in court for an arraignment. "Because if it goes to trial, the girls will have to take the stand, and be cross examined by a prosecution that wants nothing more than to put a notch on their belt", says the legal source.
According to the Daily Mail, multiple sources have claimed one of Loughlin's daughters received a target letter from federal prosecutors in MA stating she was now a subject of investigation and could face criminal charges.
"Everything comes out in trial, whether or not it's relevant to the case".
"(Lori) is hoping she can move past this and get back to work and doing what she loves", the source said.
It's impossible to know what's going to happen in this case, but we'll honestly be surprised if Lori and Mossimo come away with zero jail time. She will lose every bit of her privacy, and that's a shame.
Loughlin is among 15 other wealthy parents who did not initially plead guilty in the federal investigation and were slapped with the secondary charge of conspiring to launder bribes and other payments to Rick Singer, the mastermind behind the scam, in a superseding indictment earlier this month. If convicted of all counts against them, they face up to 40 years behind bars, a prospect that's terrifying for the former "Full House" star and the fashion designer. "They realize how serious the charges are, but feel that once the judge hears their story he will see they had no bad intentions".
