Canceled Interviews Led to Trump Jr. Subpoena
When Donald Trump Jr. backed out of previously scheduled interviews before the Senate Intelligence Committee twice in recent months, he forced the committee's hand, The New York Times reported. According to CNN, Trump Jr. became wary of reappearing after the committee's staff submitted to his legal team a list of 20 topics they wanted to discuss and after they indicated there would be no time or subject matter limits to the questioning. It's the first known subpoena of a member of the president's immediate family, and news of the move prompted strong words from Burr's Republican colleagues, including some who went as far as to say they thought Trump Jr. shouldn't comply. "They're requesting him back based upon something that Cohen has said, when he is in jail for lying to Congress", Mr. McCarthy said on CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday.
Trump Jr. has not commented on Twitter about the subpoena, but has retweeted dozens of posts slamming the development. But this week he is directing the president's son to at least show up, but then refuse to answer the panel's questions.
Trump Jr's stance about the interviews changed after special counsel Robert Mueller's probe on Russian election interference investigation ended without any charges against the president's eldest son, according to a person familiar with his beliefs but not authorized to speak publicly about private conversations. Ted Cruz, said there was "no need" for the subpoena.

We were unlucky against City but scored in the last second against Everton and late on against Newcastle , they could have been draws as well.
Burr reportedly said the committee stated from the start it could summon Trump Jr.to answer additional questions, contradicting a statement by someone close to the first son that he had been told he would have to testify one time when he sat for questioning in 2017. "We have our own concerns about Don Jr.'s testimony before the House Intelligence Committee and so hats off to chairman Burr and vice chairman Warner, they continue to do important work on this".
