Elderly man dies after woman pushed him off Las Vegas bus

According to witnesses, Bishop was arguing and cursing at passengers on-board when the victim, Serge Fournier, asked the woman to be nicer.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released video showing an incident in which a woman pushed an elderly man off a bus, resulting in injuries that led to his death.

Bishop was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where she will be charged for murder.

Detectives managed to identify Bishop through bus surveillance video and arrested her this week.

Fournier died on May 3 from injuries sustained in the fall.

Local police said the woman got into an argument with the man when the bus stopped to let people off near Fremont and 13th streets.

The father of Bishop's son told police that Bishop was violent, and that he was no longer with her because of it.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released footage of the altercation on Tuesday in an appeal for more witnesses to come forward.

Trevor Taylor, a neighbour to Mr Fournier, said: "No matter what his age, she should not have done that".

Police said she was seen walking away holding a boy's hand. "People need a little more patience than what they have these days".

Bishop is due in court on May 21.
