Aston Martin previews the spy gadgets going into its “Goldfinger” DB5 continuation cars

Aston Martin DB5 “Goldfinger” continuation car

As outlandish as a $3.6-million auto you can't even register for the road is, you have to admit, these gadgets are impressive.

If Goldfinger's henchman Oddjob is coming after you, Aston Martin has just the vehicle you need. The vehicle was notably featured in the Goldfinger movie that came out 55 years ago, as well as six other James Bond movies.

The carmaker has now given a broad idea of the 007-quality tricks it would pack in the car's sleeve.

Built at Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire the historic home of the brand for more than half a century and the place where all 898 original DB5 sports cars were manufactured between 1963 and 1965 the 25 continuation models* will include an array of functioning devices created by Bond film special effects genius Chris Corbould OBE.

Google is under investigation for antitrust practices in India
It's possible that Google could enact similar policies in India, depending on the results of the investigation. Android features on 88% of the world's smartphones and 99% o the smartphones sold in India.

Each Goldfinger DB5 continuation vehicle will be priced at £2.75m plus taxes.

Subject to final engineering approval, the list of Bond-inspired gadgets will include these features familiar to viewers of the classic 1964 big screen hit.

Now at the interior, there will be a fake radar tracker, a phone in the driver's door, a tray to store weapons under the seat and strategic switches on the hand rest and center console.

However, there will be no ejector seat. There are now no plans to include an ejector seat, something the auto had in the movie but "there may be a surprise or two when you operate the ejector seat button", Aston Martin representatives said in an email.

Lampard hopeful of having two stars available vs Leeds
We should have one or two more goals in the first half, instead we turned round level. Facing Villa in the final, though, is a different question.

The effort is to make this continuation vehicle fully resemble the 1964 DB5s in all respects including the color -Silver Birch. The logo of Aston Martin is seen on a vehicle displayed at the Aston Martin stand during the press days of the Paris Motor Show, Oct. 3, 2018.

"Naturally an Aston Martin sale would not be complete without a lineup of "Bond" cars and this sale features examples of models which have appeared with 007 on the silver screen", the auction house said in a press release.

Cinema company EON Productions took part in designing the modern version of the vehicle, equipping it with several spy gadget replicas you may know from the movies.

The British company is working in cooperation with EON Production to put together 25 examples of the iconic sports vehicle at the Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, England. Well, nearly all as we doubt Aston Martin will install an ejection seat.
