Six suspects, including the alleged gunman, have been detained in the shooting of former Red Sox star David Ortiz, the Dominican Republic's chief prosecutor said Wednesday. Once he was stable, Ortiz was moved to Boston where he received a second surgery just to make sure that he was going to be okay.

"David continues to recuperate today in the Intensive Care Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital under the direction of treating trauma surgeon Dr. David King", the statement read.

She added Ortiz is "making good progress towards recovery". Police are also in possession of the gun used in the shooting. "We guarantee to all Dominicans and to the world that justice will be done".

South Korea agencies can't confirm Kim brother as CIA source
The Trump administration's strategy toward North Korea is increasingly marked by inconsistencies, if not outright contradictions. Former US officials told the newspaper that Kim Jong Un had no known power base in Pyongyang that would have kept him informed.

Witnesses confirmed, and security camera footage showed, a sophisticated attempt by two men on a motorcycle and two groups of other people in cars to kill Ortiz, prosecutors assert in the document.

In the court document, Dominican prosecutors said one of the shooting suspects, Oliver Moises Mirabal Acosta, was driving a grey Hyundai Accent before mounting a motorcycle driven by 25-year-old Eddy Vladimir Feliz Garcia.

The details were contained in a court document obtained by the Associated Press on Wednesday.
